about our charity
One of the most important lessons that MUN has taught me is how many of the world’s problems arise from inaction—whether it be from our leaders and politicians or from us, the citizens of the world. These conferences not only teach us to research and put our debating skills into practice, but perhaps the most valuable lesson is understanding that we do not live in an individual world, but a collective one, where our actions—no matter how small—can have a profound impact on others. Let us be global citizens: people who understand their role in society and who, instead of becoming indifferent or disengaged, make an effort to find solutions to the issues that affect us all. That is why this year we wish to continue a beautiful tradition we began last year: charity. Through the sale of food, sweets, and beverages during the conference sessions, we aim to raise funds for a meaningful cause—our school’s Blujuriñak project. We invite you to take part in this initiative, to support it through your purchases, and, beyond that, to show interest in projects like this and help in every way possible.
