As political tensions between Iran and the United States of America escalate into one of today's most dangerous global conflicts, a rising death toll and repeated violations of the UN Charter by both sides threaten to reshape the current world order.
The United Nations Security Council, the only UN body capable of passing legally binding resolutions, sanctions, and military authorizations, will take on strengthening international security amid this crisis. Delegates in this committee will work to negotiate realistic, balanced solutions that de-escalate tensions and push both sides toward a lasting peace.
